Jean Luyt has 15 years’ experience as a psychologist. She studied at the University of Cape Town, completing a double masters – in Education and in Clinical Psychology. She integrates these two areas of expertise in her work.
Her services include individual, couple, family and group therapy, and she is also interested in working with adoptive families.
Jean sees children, adolescents and adults, including undergraduate and graduate students, and working professionals in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to providing therapy, Jean also supervises post-graduate students and teaches Child and Family therapy to masters students at Stellenbosch University.
She has experience in helping people manage depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, parenting, behavioural difficulties and family problems.
